Terms & Conditions (Summary)
Services Provided Includes professional real estate photography, indoor/outdoor shots, virtual tours, plus any extras you agree on in writing.
Booking & Payment Full payment is due at booking. All fees are generally non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation / Refunds You can cancel without penalty up to 4 hours before the session. If you cancel less than 4 hours ahead, a 50% cancellation fee. Refunds (for timely cancellations) happen within ~2 business days.
Rescheduling If you give notice at least 24 hours ahead, you can reschedule without extra cost. Less than 24 hours might incur a fee (unless something uncontrollable, like bad weather, occurs).
Weather Policy The photographer decides if the weather is bad for exteriors. If the session is moved because of the weather, no extra cost. If the client insists and the resulting photos are subpar, re-shoots will incur additional costs.
Client Responsibilities You need to have the property ready and accessible at the agreed time. Also responsible for securing any needed permissions/releases (e.g. property, models) for people shown in photos.
Use of Photos / Copyright All copyrights stay with the photographer. You get a limited license to use photos for marketing/listing the specific property. Other uses or alterations require written permission.
Usage Restrictions You can't transfer or resell the photos, or give rights to someone else, without written consent. License ends when the listing ends or the property is sold. No editing/altering without permission.
Re-shoots If there a technical issue (focus, lighting, etc.), you can ask for a re-shoot at no cost as long as you flag it within 5 business days. If it's about style preference, additional charges might apply.
Liability Limit Photographer's liability is limited to the amount you paid. No liability for indirect or consequential damages.
Privacy & Data Your personal info collected will be handled in line with data laws and won't be shared unless it's needed for the job or required by law.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law If issues come up: first try mediation, then arbitration if needed. The laws of Virginia apply.
Other Stuff
Terms may be changed by the photographer (and changes go into effect once posted or notified).
If one party breaches the terms and doesn't fix it within 30 days after being notified, the agreement can be terminated.
